126 Moving in the Apostolic

send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers' tombs, that I may rebuild it." ... So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time (Neh. 2:5,6). Nehemiah was sent to build. The apostolic spirit is a building spirit. Whenever you find the apostolic dimension, you will find building or rebuilding. In spite of opposition, Nehemiah was able to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem because he was sent; he had authority from the king to build. Nehemiah also shows us that where there is building, there will be warfare. He commanded his builders to hold weapons in one hand and building equipment in the other. Even today, there is no building without warfare. Satan will always oppose the building of the Church. Apostolic churches are warfare churches that are able to fight through opposition and build. And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations (Isa. 61:4). This is the result of the ministry of a sent one. Isaiah prophesied about our Lord, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted" (Isa. 61:1). The anointing upon sent ones causes rebuilding to occur. Tabernacle of David But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you (1 Sam. 13:14). And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, "I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will" (Acts 13:22).
