sanctuary were given to Moses by revelation, so apostles bring patterns to the Church. They are wise master builders, spiritual architects. They receive wisdom and grace to know and implement God's blueprint for His Church. Apostolic wisdom is necessary if we are to build properly. Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: "See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, to design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of workmanship" (Exod. 31:1-5). And Bezalel and Aholiab, and every gifted artisan in whom the Lord has put wisdom and understanding, to know how to do all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, shall do according to all that the Lord has commanded (Exod. 36:1). Wisdom is the key to building the sanctuary properly. Bezalel and Aholiab were men of skill, men of ability who were filled with wisdom. They brought beauty and excellence to the sanctuary. The house of the Lord should be a place of excellence. Everything about it should reflect the beauty and excellence of the Lord. The apostolic dimension releases the wisdom necessary to build according to God's pattern. The result will be a Church of beauty and excellence, reflecting the glory and wisdom of the Lord. Nehemiah Nehemiah is also a type of apostolic ministry. His name means "Comforter"; he is a type of the Holy Spirit. Remember, the Holy Spirit is an apostolic Spirit because He was sent by the Father (see John 14:26). Nehemiah was also a sent one.
