Masonic & Occult Symbols Illustrate
The humanist movement has adopted a number of symbols for their association. One of these symbols is called the “Happy Man.” This one, which was taken from an International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU) pamphlet, “is fast becoming the most universal humanist symbol.”
A slight variation of the IHEU’s symbol is also used on the American Humanist Association’s (AHA) literature. In a pamphlet by the AHA entitled “Statement Affirming Evolution As a Principle of Science,” we find:
“For many years it has been well established scientifically that all known forms of life, including human beings, have developed by a lengthy process of evolution. It is also verifiable today that very primitive forms of life, ancestral to all living forms, came into being thousands of millions of years ago.... “Creationism is not scientific, but it is a purely religious view held by some religious sects and persons and strongly opposed by other religious sects and persons.
