you professing to be a Christian while using paraphernalia, amulets, talismans, jewelry, runes, etc., of Satan? ho are you depending on for your protection? Do you think you need Satan’s devices to supposedly keep evil away from you and your family or are you resting securely in Christ? “The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them” (Psalm 34:7). “I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears” (Psalm 34:4). “Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him” (Proverbs 30:5). If you claim you are following Christ, does your life match your profession? We are admonished by Peter: “But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation” (I Peter 1:15). “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance” (Galatians 5:22-23). On the other hand, the fruits of the flesh are: “Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God” (Galatians 5:19b-21). “In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother” (1 John 3:10). “They that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts” (Galatians 5:24). Does your life reflect the fruits of the Spirit? Regardless of what man may say, the Bible is our final authority. No church can save you. Only Jesus Christ can do that. Even though you may be a moral and honest person, if you have never invited Christ into your heart as your own PERSONAL Savior, you, too, need to repent. Maybe you are not committing a blatant sin, but the Bible tells us that “ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). The “ALL” includes both you and me, and “the wages of sin is [eternal] death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23). God’s gift to us is eternal life, but we must accept this gift to make the transaction valid. If I had a gift to give to you and you refused to accept it, that gift would do you no good. You must RECEIVE this gift for it to become effective.
