The Islamic God is called Allah. He was the moon god, who married the sun goddess. “Together they produced three goddesses who were called ‘the daughters of Allah.’ These three goddesses were called Al-Lat, Al-Uzza, and Manat.” The Encyclopedia of Religion mentions that “‘Allah’ is a pre-Islamic name...corresponding to the Babylonian Bel.” The symbol for Allah appears below.
The Islamic holy book is called the Koran (or Quran). This symbol looks like this:
Om (or Aum) is often used as a mantra for meditation. It signifies the Hindu pagan trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. The Om symbols below are also used for Brahman, the impersonal god of the Hindus.
