Not surprisingly, Anubis is one of the gods adored in witchcraft. One witchcraft magazine tells how to make an Anubis protection amulet. After the instructions are given, the writer of the article then adds: “Anubis can be anyone’s best friend, (He’s definitely mine!) even if He is considered by many to be the most ominous God of the Underworld [hell].” Personally, I don’t need (or want) the protection of the “God of the Underworld"! Do you? Albert Pike tells us: “Isis was also aided in her search [for Osiris] by Anubis, in the shape of a dog. HE WAS SIRIUS OR THE DOG-STAR....” It was Anubis who supposedly guarded “the gates of death” and he “was associated with magic an divination.”
