form of the six pointed star, which we have already covered. The Masons use a square and compass combined in their degrees.
“The square represents the female (passive) generative principle, the earth, and the baser, sensual nature; and the Compass represents the male (active) generative principle, the sun/heavens, and the higher, spiritual nature.” The two symbols displayed together once again represent sexual union. In fact, in witchcraft, the square is actually the symbol of the lingam or the male reproduction organ and the compass represents the female organs. Combining the two symbols gives an obvious and vulgar meaning. Another meaning of the square is that it represents a god or gods. Just which god is it? We don’t have to wonder for long, for a number of Masons have already revealed some of these gods to us. For instance, in The Symbolism of Freemasonry by Albert G.
