labyrinth, both being symbols in the Cretan cult.” [Italics in the original; Boldface added]

The tau is a Masonic symbol. The Mason makes the tau cross with his feet during his initiation ceremony and the triple tau appears on the Masonic apron. J. S. M. Ward, a Mason, reveals that the tau cross is “placed on the apron of the Master of the Lodge, though placed [upside down], so as to give also the symbol of the square, and also to emphasise its phallic meaning.” He adds: “The tau cross is also a symbol of the male or creative side of the deity, and is really a conventionalised form of the phallus.” [Emphasis in the original] The Sign Language of the Mysteries states somewhat the same tiling: “The tau cross is a very ancient symbol, representing the phallus and hence it often stands for our animal passions.”

The book Anacalypsis reveals: “The Tau, T, is the emblem of Mercury, of Hermes. It is the crux ansata, and the crux Hermis.... the crux Tau was also the emblem of the generative power, of eternal transmigrating life, and thus was used indiscriminately with the Phallus. It was, in fact, the phallus. The Tau is the Thoth, the Teut, the Teutates of the Druids; and Teutates was Mercury....” [Italics in the original; Boldface added]

A former Mason mentions that the tau cross “is actually the symbol of the pagan slain and risen god, Tammuz (Ezekiel 8:13-14). It is a symbol for just another counterfeit Masonic ‘Christ.’”
