Cerridwen is the goddess of wisdom and witchcraft. A former witch reveals: “Cerridwen is the traditional name of the Crone. I learned that in ancient legend, she is the keeper of the Black Cauldron of Immortality. This is the Cauldron from which one sip could bring incredible insights, wisdom and supernatural powers.” Cerridwen is also another name for Venus (also known as Lucifer), Isis, and Hecate. In Mythology we find that “Hecate was the Goddess of the Dark of the Moon, the black nights when the moon is hidden. She was associated with the deeds of darkness, the Goddess of the Crossways, which were held to be ghostly places of evil magic.” Laurie Cabot, a witch, states: “At death Hecate was said to meet the departed souls and lead them to the Underworld....And so Hecate became known as the Queen of the Witches....” It’s no wonder that Hecate is called the “Queen of the Witches” since she taught SORCERY and WITCHCRAFT. Marilyn Ferguson, a New Ager, used the symbol of the triquetra (another name for the triskele) on her book The Aquarian Conspiracy. This is a variation for the number 666. Other books and materials have a similar design printed on them, such as books from David Spangler, the person who lauds Lucifer, and The Witch’s Grimoire. As most people know, the number 666 is the number of the beast (see Revelation 13:18) and is evil, yet the occultists and New Agers love this number and consider it to be a sacred number.
