4 Leviathan, The King of Pride
In the 41st chapter of Job, the Lord appears to Job in a whirling and begins to question him concerning a creature known as Leviathan. Although I had read the book of Job numerous times, I had no understanding of who this creature was until I came into the ministry of Deliverance. I then realized that Leviathan was a spirit represented by the crocodile or a large serpent. In Isaiah, chapter 27, he is called the "crooked serpent", the "piercing serpent", the "dragon" that lieth in the midst of the sea. In Job 41:34, he is called "a king over all the children of pride." After being in the ministry of deliverance for sometime, we began to see that one of the most difficult spirits to defeat was the spirit of Pride. Some people never seem to overcome this spirit and eventually end up falling. We can defeat Pride, but not in our natural strength. Only the Lord can draw him out and destroy him. The Lord has graciously given us a revelation of Leviathan and his characteristics. We are now able to
