6 A Threshing Before the Final Blessing who could make it happen. A great restoration of what had been lost was coming. Naomi now had faith. A spark of hope was restored and Naomi's creativity began to flow. She began to plot a strategy for Ruth and Boaz to come together. Boaz could redeem the lost property for Naomi and Ruth was the key to open the door to Boaz's heart! N The critical time came at the end of the harvest as the reapers were winnowing. This is a process where the wheat and the chaff are separated. The process is performed at night when the wind picks up. The harvested sheaves are thrown into the wind. As the breeze hits the sheaves, the chaff is blown away as the coveted grain falls to the threshing floor. The troubles and trials we experience in life eventually bring us to the threshing floor.
