was doing the work for someone else's benefit! When will we learn that God rewards those who work faithfully and with pure motives (Hebrews 11:5)? It has been reported that only five percent of the working people in America are completely happy in their field of labor. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that 95 percent are working strictly out of necessity. Their only goal is to get a paycheck to pay bills, and to provide for the family. Yet, it doesn't have to be this way. If we follow the leading of God's Spirit, we could all be laboring in a field that is challenging, but fulfilling. Some may be in the right place and just don't realize it, due to a lack of concentration. When you concentrate on your assignment, it becomes a part of you. Then you will find contentment. Not only that, those who are over you, your employer and God, take notice. A DVANCE IN Y OUR F IELD OF L ABOR I once said to a person we were hiring in our office, "I pay people according to the problems they solve and not the problems they create." If you desire to move up in your job and increase, then let your supervisor see that you have a desire to help the company INCREASE. These seven nuggets may help. Learn everything you can about the job assigned to you. Learn more than you need to know and learn more than you are expected to know.
