And when you are thirsty, go to the vessels and drink from what the young men have drawn (Ruth 2:9). Due to hard work, her beauty, or both, she immediately got the attention of Boaz. She gleaned from "morning till evening" (Ruth 2:7). When she had an opportunity to take a break, she spent "a little" time "in the house" (Ruth 2:7). While he was attracted to her appearance, Boaz didn't overlook her work ethic.
I was called into the ministry at age 16. From that moment, I became disconnected with all public school activities. I had little or no social life. I stayed in an office or my bedroom, studying for hours on end. At the time, I was not evangelizing, traveling or preaching. During this time, I was learning to defeat "bears and lions" in personal, private battles.
