Kingdom Principles

Kingdom Concept #1

Jesus’ message was clearly kingdom focused and not religiously motivated: From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near” (Matthew 4:17). Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their syna gogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people (Matthew 4:23). Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted (Matthew 5:3-4). For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will cer tainly not enter the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:20). Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your king dom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:9b-10).

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well (Matthew 6:33).

Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness (Matthew 9:35).

As you go, preach this message: “The kingdom of heaven is near” (Matthew 10:7).
