John 7:53-8:11 These twelve verses show Christ revealing the adult erers among the "scribes" and for giving the adulter ous woman. Von Soden reveals "in the great majority of the manuscripts it stands in the text."6 One Princeton scholar adds, "The notes printed in the modern versions are completely misleading."7
