Breaking the Fear of Financial Provision for the End Time
Clue #3—What Is God’s Timing on This Issue? Whatever you decide to do, be sure to pray about it and wait on God’s perfect timing. Abraham had to wait twenty-five years for Isaac, the promised heir. Joseph spent seventeen years in slavery and prison before he received his breakthrough. Moses was in the desert forty years before he received his call to deliver the people from Egyptian bondage. The Lord showed me a daughter that we would have named Amanda, but it took twelve years for her to arrive. When the Lord gave me the name Manna fest, it took twelve years to birth the ministry. The writer of Ecclesiastes wrote about the folly of riches and how that you can take nothing with you when you die. Much of what he wrote is about the enigmas of life, and he makes it clear that life without God is meaningless. But he does tell us to enjoy our labor, rejoice in it, and even receive our reward from it, for this is the gift of God: Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion. Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God. E CCLESIASTES 5:18-19 Determine to find your gifting and calling, so that you will rejoice in your labor and be successful in life. As the writer said, that is one of God’s gifts to you!
