Breaking the Fear of Financial Provision for the End Time
whatever it is that you keep putting off. Keep track of things that need to be done, and finish them in order of importance. The person who can complete projects before the deadline will have less stress in life and be appreciated by others and noticed for promotions. Personal patterns that you establish in life will impact your work ethic. Don’t put off until tomorrow what needs to be done today. Completing an assignment gives a sense of relief when it is accomplished. Make each day count and understand that you will not rise to higher levels of leadership if you are a procrastinator. 3. Financial Irresponsibility We have all observed different television ministers suggest that, if you will plant a certain amount of money into the ministry, you will become debt free. The fact is, even if a person were to become supernaturally debt free without learning to control their spending, they would end up in debt again. I have known people who were addicted to shopping. They purchased clothing they never wore or gadgets they never used, whether they needed these things or not. They bought anything they wanted, even if they had to charge it. Some people are irresponsible with money and credit, but learning to be responsible with debt and finances is part of personal responsibility. Learn to live on a budget. Pay off debts and strive to live debt free. Save money by looking for bargains and foregoing the purchase of things you do not need. Do not live above your means and use a false benchmark in order to project an image and level of success you cannot afford. Those who carelessly spend and build credit will come under financial burden. 4. Lack Of Discipline In Your Conversation More people have entered a fire they could not quench by opening their mouth and shooting flames toward others with words that strike the heart as burning arrows (James 3:5-6). We have all known intelligent and well-educated people who have a hard time getting or keeping a job because of their temper, smart aleck attitude, negativity, or tendency to gossip, slander others, or give everybody a piece of their mind. Nobody wants to be around such people, unless they have the same traits and choose like-minded friends so they can commiserate with each other. If you engage in these behaviors, you will acquire a reputation that will destroy your success in life. Not only will people not want to be around you, they will go
