How to Interpret Dreams and Visions Perry Stone

It is certainly possible that a believer can experience a dream or vision in which the angel of the Lord appears in bright clothing and in a glorified form. At times, prior to a believer’s departure from this life, some will speak of seeing either departed loved ones or a heavenly, angelic-like being just prior to their death. This is not uncommon, as Scripture indicates that angels are assigned to help a believer depart from their physical body at death. In Luke 16, when the poor beggar died, he was carried by the angels into the paradise of God, known in that time as “Abraham’s bosom” (Luke 16:22). In these instances the appearance of an angel is often described as a glowing being in a white garment, standing in a room or near the bed. Whether the dying soul is actually seeing the angel or is having a true open vision is known only to the Lord. The fact is, angels have appeared and do appear in dreams, as indicated in both Testaments! In summary: God can allow an angelic messenger to appear in a dream or a vision.
