CAN ANGELS APPEAR AS WOMEN IN DREAMS?

On several occasions there have been very godly and biblically sound believers who have testified to receiving an important, personal word from the Lord in a dream in which the person was an angel of the Lord but appeared more in the form of a female than a male. In the past I would question why this was so or think that the person perhaps misread what he or she saw. However, after searching the Bible, I was quite amazed to read a unique passage written by the prophet Zechariah describing angels with female appearance: Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were two women, coming with the wind in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between earth and heaven. —Z ECHARIAH 5:9 When reading this, I first examined the word women, which does appear in the Hebrew text. The word is ishshah , a feminine word used for a woman or a female. The prophet indicated that these two “women” had wings like a stork. Some commentators mention that the stork is an unclean bird (Lev. 11:19), thus these two angelic-like figures are actually symbols
