How to Interpret Dreams and Visions Perry Stone
and I was rather joyful when I awoke to remember him as a part of my life. Oddly, however, there have been occasions when the Lord would allow a person who has departed to appear in a dream to a loved one, at times to bring comfort. One of the most dramatic incidents that I know occurred years ago in Tuscumbia, Alabama. I was ministering in a local church, and an elderly woman told me of this personal incident. She and her husband had been believers for many years. He suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. She came to a point where she needed some additional income to pay bills. When living, her husband told her he had hidden some money in the house in the event of an emergency, but the fellow never told her where the money was hidden. She had looked in drawers, in the cupboard, and other areas and found nothing. She cried out to the Lord to help her and to reveal—if there was money in the house—where it was hidden. One night she awoke and saw her husband standing near the foot of her bed. She was stunned! He said nothing but walked toward the bedroom closet and pointed to a stack of blankets. He turned and pointed to the bottom blanket several times, smiled, and then vanished. She came to herself and didn’t know if she had dreamed this or if it was a vision. To test this spirit to see if it was from the Lord (1 John 4:1), she arose and went to the closet. She pulled down a stack of blankets on the top shelf. As she laid them on the bed and began opening them, she opened the bottom blanket, and there were thousands of dollars folded in the blanket! Obviously the Lord was concerned for this precious widow, and He knew where the money was. The Lord used a dream-vision to bring
