DREAM One of the most dramatic demonstrations of the power of a woman’s dream that my wife and I still occasionally discuss occurred many years ago and involved a very dear and well known minister and his wife. I had been on an overseas trip and was returning to Atlanta Hartsfield Airport, where my wife was waiting at the baggage claim. When we were driving out of the airport, she said, “I had a dream. I believe the Lord wants us to go visit this couple in their service tonight.” In the dream, Pam saw this pastor’s wife crying as she sat in a restroom. She was troubled because she had learned she was pregnant. She was saying, “I can’t go through with this.” Pam saw that the woman was very distressed, and a heavy depression had overwhelmed her. Pam commented, “I think she’s pregnant, and I must go and tell her this dream and tell her it will be all right.” Without the couple’s knowledge that we were coming, we drove for quite some time and arrived just after the Wednesday night service had begun. The pastor saw us in the audience and welcomed us to the service. His wife was not in her normal seat. Pam said, “I don’t think she is here, but her mother is. I’ll speak with her after service.” After service Pam spoke to the woman’s mother, who said, “Pam, guess what…she is pregnant again!” Pam turned pale and replied, “I must tell you this dream,” which she proceeded to do.
