Foundations of Freedom

Fear of the de facto

For the last hundred years we have been acting like Gideon, thrashing his wheat in a winepress (Judges chapter 6.) People are so scared of the de facto agencies that we avoid danger rather than standing up for what is right, putting our faith in the illusion of safety. Christians today fearfully avoid political issues and instead blindly obey what the corporate policy makers say. As a nation, we have abdicated our sovereignty and have returned to slavery. Sitting on the sidelines hands Satan a victory-your children will end up totally enslaved.
