Exposing Satan's Playbook The Perry Stone
Job patiently endured using inner spiritual strength to stand in faith and not sin with his mouth against God. Patience provides the spiritual stamina to endure the pressure of the test and the flames of fiery trial until the weight is lifted and the fire is quenched. As James wrote: Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful. —J AMES 5:11 As a believer, your greatest concern during a test is the tendency to “give up” before the cycle of testing is completed. When it feels that your faith is wavering and weakening, it requires your spiritual, emotional, and at times physical determination and the arms of patience to undergird your beliefs and thoughts that a good outcome will be the end of the test. You cannot have a testimony of overcoming it there is not a test you must overcome! One of my favorite passages related to patience is found in Hebrews 10:35–36 ( KJV ): Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
