happen! The adversary desires to be like God (Isa. 14:14). Since God is all knowing, the enemy makes an attempt to convince a person during warfare that he knows all things about them— their situations, their plans, and how to prevent any form of victory or success from coming from their battles. When a person is in covenant with God, the real issue is when that person begins believing that the enemy knows all things. That fear may cause the believer to hesitate to make any positive move because of his fear that the enemy will block his actions before they ever begin! If we go back to the birth of Christ, after the shepherds and wise men worshipped the future King at Bethlehem, Herod sent a hit squad of Roman assassins to slay all infants under two years of age (Matt. 2:16). Herod had no clue, and neither did the soldiers, which child was the true King. Joseph was warned to take Mary and Christ to Egypt to spare the infant’s life. If Satan was so full of knowledge, he would have revealed the travel plans of the infant, and Christ would have died young. Another question that has been asked is this: If Satan knew the final and ultimate defeat he would endure with the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ, why did he allow the crucifixion to occur and not prevent it? Early in Christ’s ministry He revealed that He would suffer, be killed, and be raised on the third day. When Simon Peter heard Christ assert this, he immediately rebuked Christ, resisting the idea that this could happen. Jesus rebuked Peter by saying, “Get behind Me,
