Becoming A Vessel Of Honor Rebecca Brown

85 "O.K. boys," I said. "If you want a fight, come on! I’ll fight you with this." "They stood still for a minute and then the leader spoke up and said, ’Yeah? I’ll bet you don’t know how to use that thing.’" "Want to bet?" I said. "Then come on and I’ll show you. I do not fight with my own power, but with the power of my master Jesus Christ. You and your demons are no match for Him!" "They looked uncertain at that point. I pressed my ad vantage and took a few steps toward them, rebuking them again in the name of Jesus. They stepped back a step, so I continued walking toward them, still holding my hand in front of me. It’s a good thing they didn’t know how my knees were trembling! I learned early on that I could NEVER show fear or pain." "They shuffled their feet uneasily. Then, suddenly, they broke and ran. I hurried back to the car and this time the key worked in the lock just fine. Boy did I get out of there as quick as I could!" "Did you see the sword?" Joyce asked. "No, I didn’t. I had to stand in faith that it was there because the Holy Spirit had told me to use the armor. But they ob viously saw it. Satanists can see in the spirit world most of the time anyway, but the demons screen what they see. That is why I asked Father to make them see the sword. Other wise I was afraid the demons might have kept them from seeing it. I wish I could have seen it but I didn’t. I suppose if I had seen it then faith wouldn’t have been necessary. We always have to walk this walk in faith."
