Becoming A Vessel Of Honor Rebecca Brown

62 "Oh, they are very common within the craft,"Joyce said. "They are easy to do but hard to break. That is, it is hard to recognize when you are being afflicted by one." Elaine got a pad of paper. "Here," she said," let me show you some of the symbols you can be on the lookout for. You may find a piece of paper with symbols on it like this." (Figure 4-1) "That’s right,"Joyce agreed. "Many times, though, the incan tation will be placed on the person’s property. I’ll bet we could find some on yours if we looked carefully enough. It can simply be done with four sticks or branches or reeds. They are placed on the ground like this. They look like sticks that have just fallen naturally onto the ground." (Figure 4-2) "That’s right,"Elaine spoke up. "In the center of the square or rectangle is placed some object such as a hair, a button, or it could even be something as small as a piece of lint off your clothing. They can also write your name or initials on the ground rather than placing an object there." Joyce agreed. "Does the piece of paper have to be placed in the person’s home or on their person in order for the incantation to work?" Rebecca asked. "No,"Elaine and Joyce said together. "Those are just things you can be on the lookout for. If you see them around then you know for sure such an incantation has been done." "We should also look for ley-lines," Joyce said. "What’s that?" Rebecca asked.
