Over and over again I am told that yes, this does sometimes happen, and if they disobey the spirits, the spirits get really mean and throw the board around the room or hurt the kids in some way. My next question is always, 'Then why do you mess around with these spirits?" They always tell me that they have "good spirits" to protect them from the "mean or bad spirits." What a tragedy! Her mother was not a Christian, but sporadically at tended the Christian Science church (not a Christian church). To Jane’s knowledge, her mother was not in volved in the occult directly.
