This tendency towards rebellion is something we all have to deal with, but especially those involved in Satanism. Always remember, passivity is the very worst form of rebellion pos sible. God hates passivity more than anything else. He made this very clear in Revelation 3 in the letter to the church of Laodicea. Because the Laodiceans were "lukewarm,1" that is, passive, the Lord said He would "spue them out of His mouth." (Rev. 3:15-16) Some of the most difficult satanists to work with are the breeders. The breeders are the women used to have children for sacrifice. They are so difficult to work with, because they have chosen to rebel through pas sivity. They have refused to do anything against the terrible sins they are told to commit. One of the first things I must do when I am approached by anyone who says he or she wants to come out of Satanism, is pray! I must seek the Lord in prayer to be sure that it is HIS will that I work with that person. I must also talk to the person not only to see if he is willing to make Jesus his total master, but also to see if he is willing to pay the price in volved in such a commitment. The majority of people in volved in Satanism are not willing to pay the price involved in a total commitment to Jesus. They simply want relief from their current torment. They are typical of all human beings, we Christians included. About the only thing that makes any of us want to turn away from the sin in our lives is the fact that we finally become so miserable that we are willing to give up that sin to obtain something better. The prodical son in the parable given by Jesus is a typical ex ample of this. He had to get down to eating with the pigs he fed before he was willing to give up his life of sin. Many times in counseling situations, I have to come to the point of simply praying with the person and asking the Lord
