I believe that within a year or so of the publishing of this book Christian churches will come under direct and open attack by satanists. Recently, we were in South Carolina and picked up a local newspaper. On the front page was a pic ture of a small local country Christian church. Across the front of the church sprayed in black paint were the words "Satan is God!" It won’t be long, and those of us who serve Jesus Christ will have to directly face those who serve Satan in face-to-face confrontations. In the month of May, 1989,1spoke with a pastor who is a traveling evangelist. He told me of six churches that he per sonally knew of in the states of Texas and Oklahoma who’s doors were closed because of threats from the local satanists. Neither the pastors nor the members of the church were willing to stand up to the satanic death threats. This same evangelist also told me of a church in Texas where the pastor was approached by the high priest of the local satanic coven who demanded the use of the church build ing. In this case the pastor told the high priest that he couldn’t have the building. The prompt response was a death threat. The pastor answered, "In life or death, I will serve Jesus. I am not afraid of death. You CANNOT use this building!" About two weeks later, the satanists broke into the church and sacrificed a baby on the altar in the front of the church and desecrated it, leaving the dead baby for the church members to find. Still the pastor and some of the church members stood for Christ. As a result, about three weeks later, a revival broke out in that town, and many have come
