232 Just two months before the publication of this book CBS put a two hour film on prime time TV called "The Entity." 'The Entity" is a film telling a true story that happened in Los Angeles in 1976 and was researched by people from UCLA. It is the story of a young woman with three children who is divorced and raising her children alone. Suddenly, she was attacked and raped by an unseen being one evening. The attacks continued and involved the children and even tually the researchers. That film broke my heart! How ac curately it portrayed the utter helplessness of any human being in the face of demonic power! If only that woman had been a Christian and had known the power available through the name of Jesus Christ! At the end of the film, it said that she had moved to Texas, but now, more than ten years later, was still suffering from these attacks, though not as frequently. How I pray that our Lord will bring this woman across the path of some Christian who will not laugh at her or say that what she is experiencing is impossible, but will share with her the answer —the power in our wonder ful Lord Jesus Christ! If you want to read another book that deals briefly with these problems, it is Earth’s EarliestAges, by G.H. Pember. It is available through Kregel Publications, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Genesis 6:8 and other scriptures leave us little doubt of the validity of these people’s experiences. Such sexual sin is an abomination to our Lord! But, we Christians MUST be able to help people be set free from captivity to this form of sin. People in all forms of witchcraft, Satanism and eastern religions ALL experience sexual intercourse of various sorts with spirits. In Asian countries this is called "astral- sex." How does it occur? The physical partner experiences all the physical sensations of sex although the partner is a spirit and not physical at all.
