Chapter 12

DELIVERANCE This book is written for all those children of God who hunger and thirst after a close personal relationship with HIM. It is for those who long to "hear" His voice in their in nermost being, who will not be satisfied with anything less than the experience of His presence and glory. It is for those who value such a relationship with our wonderful Creator enough to be willing to pay the price in their own lives to achieve it -- the pain of daily carrying the cross. This book is for those who are willing to strive for holiness in obedience to our beloved master, JESUS. There is a desperate need for God’s people to wake up and bring holiness into their lives! The professing Christian church of the Western world today has settled down into a gospel of compromises with the world. Doctrines of prosperity and satisfaction of the fleshly desires are upper most throughout the churches. No one wants to pay the price for living a truly separated and holy life. The consequent poverty in the average Christian’s personal relationship with the Lord is astounding. The most common question I get from pastors over the phone is, Ts it really possible for the Lord to communicate with me directly?" How tragic this is! Truly we are living in a church age charac terized by the church of Laodicea. "Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." II Corinthians 7:1
