151 the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy...Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. We do not know exactly what the idol looked like, but we do know that demons are associated with ALL idols. Paul wrote specifically about this:

"What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils,..." I Corinthians 10:19-20

Clearly then, demons were present by the brazen altar with the idol. Next, the Lord showed Ezekiel the walls around the temple. Verse 10 says: Chapter 9 Defilement of God’s Temple
