Becoming A Vessel Of Honor Rebecca Brown

130 demons in others. He has not yet had time to grow or prove himself. My heart grieves as I see this happening to those coming out of Satanism. All too often they are thrust into a position of publicly giving their testimony, etc. PRIDE crouches at the door! They come under such terrible attack that they can not stand. My advice is this: "Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God and in due time He will lift you up." (James 4:10) Walk quietly before the Lord and learn the lessons He wants you to learn. Prove yourself faithful and obedient. No matter how great the temptation, NEVER allow a new Christian to be put in a place of public prominence. You will contribute to his/her destruction if you do. Our Lord is so gracious. He allows us to do some work for Him, especially in sharing the gospel, even as we are babes in Christ first learning to walk. He does this to encourage us. But we must be willing to go through the training and proving process. If we are not, then He can never fully use us as He wants. God so intensely desired us to be cleansed from SIN that He gave His very own life to provide for our purification. WE must also so in tensely desire to be free from sin that we are willing to lay down ANYTHING, no matter how painful it may be, to put sin out of our lives! O.K., so we know we must stop sinning. But we are still left with the terrible struggle Paul described (quoted earlier in this chapter) in Romans chapter 7. How then can we have victory in this struggle against our sin nature? The answer Chapter 8 The Sin Nature
