BELIAL, The Wicked Ruler

Belial and the Spirits of Rape and Sexual Abuse

together as one man. And the tribes of Israel sent men through all the tribe of Benjamin, saying, What wickedness is this that is done among you? Now therefore deliver us the men, the CHILDREN OF BELIAL, which are in Gibeah, THAT WE MAY PUT THEM TO DEATH, and put away evil from Israel. Judges 20:11-13 The tribes of Israel were so repulsed by this act of mass rape that they gathered together against the city of Gibeah and demanded those who were guilty of this act. They decided to put to death the guilty. There is much controversy today in America concerning the death penalty. Many liberals in our nation think it is a cruel method that needs to be outlawed. However, in the Word of God, there were sins that were abominable enough to merit the death penalty. This book is not debating the pros and cons of the death penalty, but suffice it to say that it is found in the Word of God. The spirit of Belial desires for us to tolerate these vile acts in our nation. But there are some sins that are so vile and abominable until it will stir moral indignation in most people, saved or unsaved. As we continue the study of Belial, we are identifying spirits that operate under him. We can include spirits of rape, incest, molestation, sexual abuse, sexual impurity, uncleanness, filthiness, lasciviousness, sodomy, lewdness, and obscenity.
