prophets, and teachers come together to guard and direct the work. The apostolic leaders are able to take teams around the world to impact nations. The prophets are released to help give direction and insight into what the Lord is directing us to do. The teachers are released to train new members and believers as well as to provide a strong Word foundation for members of the church. These governmental anointings work together as a team. The work has grown too large for one man and a few assistants to handle. Apostolic ministry is team ministry. Jesus gathered a team around him and trained them for three and a half years. He also sent out the seventy in teams of two (Luke 10:1). The Antioch church released apostolic teams to plant churches and travel throughout the known world. The traditional concept of having one pastor and some associates to pastor the flock is being challenged. We are now developing and establishing presbyteries that will be able to govern the local church. These presbyteries will consist of apostles, prophets, and teachers which are the governing gifts of the Church (1 Corinthians 12:28). They will serve as a team that gives direction and covering for the local church. The presbytery is able to prophesy and impart (1 Timothy 4:14). They have an apostolic mentality because they have apostolic leadership within the presbytery. The order and ranking of ministry is respected within the presbytery. From the presbytery leaders can be released for ministry outside the local church, just as at the church at Antioch. The Church becomes an apostolic resource center because of developed leaders who can be released
