The rank of the apostle makes him a formidable combatant against the powers of darkness. Demons recognize and submit to this anointing. God trains us through hand-to-hand combat with the enemy. Deliverance is often referred to as ground-level warfare. Apostolic churches become God's boot camp to train His army to invade and drive out the enemy. We have seen thousands of believers strengthened and trained through casting out demons. They must use their faith and gifts to deal with demons. They come to experientially know the victory of Christ over the enemy. When believers deal with demons on a continual basis, they will mature in warfare. You will have a group of proven soldiers who will be able to contend with the powers of darkness on a higher level. The Church can then be successful in strategic-level warfare. This is dealing with territorial spirits that control a region or a territory. Breakthroughs in these territories are contingent upon the binding of these powers. Once these powers are bound, there will be a new liberty and openness to the gospel in that region.
